The world's greatest, and largest, collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts can be found within the walls of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The most famous objects in the museum come from the tomb of King Nebkheperure Tutankhamun (King Tut). There is no way to see everything in one visit, so it's not a good idea to try. Cairo
Towering over 600 feet above Cairo on Zamalek Island in the River Nile, the tower offers a spectacular view of the bustling city and is topped by an observation deck and a revolving restaurant. Its partially open lattice-work design is intended to evoke a lotus plant.
Khan el-Khalili
The Khan is one of the most historic markets in the world and dates back to 1382, originally built as a caravansarai by Emir Djaharks el-Khalili. It's easy to lose a day here wandering the alleys lined with merchants displaying traditional crafts. Beware though, merchants here are masters at the art of haggling, and even the locals joke that they can't get local prices.
